In this episode we talk with Dr. Cody J. Sanders about LGBTQIA inclusion and the gifts our LGBTQ+ siblings bring to our congregation. Dr. Sanders is the pastor to Old Cambridge Baptist Church in Cambridge, Mass and an American Baptist chaplain to Harvard University. He has written extensively about Christianity and the LGBTQ+ community and helps us consider how we can be a more compassionately curious congregation that creates space for all God’s people.



Rev. Cody Sanders is pastor to Old Cambridge Baptist Church in Cambridge, Mass., where he also serves as American Baptist Chaplain to Harvard University and Advisor for LGBTQ+ Affairs in the Office of Religious, Spiritual, and Ethical Life at MIT. He is Affiliated Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology and Chaplaincy Studies at Chicago Theological Seminary. He lives in Boston with his partner, also named Cody, and two dogs, Buddy and Suzie.
