The Church and Advocacy

Words matter. They are how we frame our society, our relationships, our entire lives. They are a gift. Actions matter. They impact everyone and everything around us. They have the power to help or harm. The central question for Christians, as always, is how do we take our words and our actions and fulfill the great commandment- to love both God and our neighbor? Public advocacy, or public witness, is one of the ways we fulfill that command.
