All through the month of December we will celebrate the season of Advent in morning worship as we anticipate the birth of Christ. If you are looking for a church home or just want to get a feel for worship here at Second, this would be a wonderful time to visit. Childcare is provided for children birth-preK.
SERVICE OF CONSOLATION
wEDNESDAY, dECEMBER 14
6 PM
This service is designed for people who are hurting in the holiday season, and for those who want to share their pain in these days (which is all of us). Invite a friend, family member, co-worker, etc. who might be struggling through the holidays. Anyone who has lost a loved one, endured a divorce, lost a job, battled a disease, etc…will find meaning in this service.
FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
Saturday, December 24
4:30 pm
Bring the little (and big) ones to a special Family Christmas Eve Service at 4:30 pm. This will be specifically geared towards families with children and teens but all are welcome! Bring the kids in PJs or Sunday best, come and have some hot chocolate as we sing Christmas carols, tell the story of the birth of Christ and celebrate the birth of Jesus together.
