While Baptists have, from the very beginning, championed the separation of church and state, we have also acknowledged ways in which our faith can influence the public arena. Politics is one expression of our shared life together. In the midst of an election year, we want to discuss ways in which faith should impact our politics…and ways the church and state should remain separate.
We will be led by Dr. Hal Bass, recently retired from Ouachita Baptist University. He is a renowned expert in these matters. Everyone is welcome. We hope you’ll join us. Children and youth will have their own activities during this time.
