Summer Youth Mission Trip
Sign-Ups

This Summer we will go to Together for Hope Black Belt in Perry County, Alabama (one of the poorest counties in the US) to work with an organization called “Sowing Seeds of Hope.” Sowing Seeds of Hope exists to promote positive, sustainable community development that benefits the residents of Perry County, Alabama. During our time there, we will help out with some manual labor projects, provide snack bags and activities for kids in a local apartment complex, and come alongside the elementary school as they prepare for a new school year. We will also have a chance to visit the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma and the Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery.

When: July 23-28

Where: Marion, Alabama

Lodging: At a local church (think sleeping on air mattresses on the floor…)

Cost: $150, you can pay with cash or check or online through our EasyTithe Portal. Don’t ever let money stop you from attending a youth event. You will also have the chance to raise money for your trip by participating in our fundraisers.
